52 Weeks Old

Will turned 52 weeks old yesterday and will turn a year old tomorrow. I can't believe it! He is so much fun! I love to take him on errands and just sit and play with him. He is starting to share his toys. Today he would bring me a toy and want me to play with it. He even tried to share some toys with Stanley! He tried to give him a fish (I think that is a very appropriate toy for a cat) and a little boy. He looked very confused when Stan didn't take them from him.
Will is starting to say more words now. In the past couple of weeks he has said fish, uh-oh, thank you, thanks, duck and eat. It is so neat to hear him say all of these words. He will also occasionally repeat the sign for more after we do it.
Will is doing so well eating real food. It is fun to try new foods and see what he likes to eat. We even ordered him his first kids' meal at Chilli's when we went out for our anniversary! Will loves to eat chicken tenders or grilled chicken. He also likes deli turkey, apple pieces, baked potato, peas, breakfast bars and french fries. He still loves cheese and crackers of any kind. It seems so weird to go out to eat and not take baby food along. He also loves to drink out of a straw, so we sometimes will get him a cup of water to drink when we go out.
I took Will to get his hair cut for the second time yesterday. This time, instead of me holding him, Will set in the chair on a cushion. He looked like such a big boy. I was very upset that I didn't take the camera along! I will have to take it next time and get some pictures. He did really well again and I love the way that it looks. Ms. Renae does a great job!
Here are some recent pictures. I also put a link to our May pictures on the left side. The first picture is Will eating a breakfast bar. The picture doesn't show it very well, but his hair was wild that morning.

William no pants!

"What's under there?"

Big smile...

Happy birthday, William!

And I love "William No Pants." I wonder who in the world inspired that...

p.s. did you know Will shares his birthday with the hula hoop...

"William No Pants" hula hooping would make a good picture! Although, I guess hula hooping might be hard for someone that just learned how to walk???!!!????

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Shan, I had no idea that Will shared his birthday with something as exciting as the hula hoop. I think we might need a little more time until he is ready to try to it, though.
Heidi, whoever inspired the "William No Pants" picture must be one classy person :)

William No Pants made me laugh out loud! I am so glad I'm in the office alone right now.
