William turned 31 weeks old on Tuesday. He showed us what a big boy he is by pulling up on the coffee table! He not only managed to stand up, but he reached into the candy basket and pulled himself out a bag of Reese's Cups to play with. So, the candy basket has now been moved! He stood up like it was no big deal. I can't believe how much he is changing.
He has had a cold for a few days, but seems to be feeling better now. He is back to eating really well and he doesn't seem as congested.
Burt picked up our new (to us) van on Tuesday. We took it to the fire station today (Wednesday) to get his car seat installed in the van. He seemed to really like being in the fire station and would just look around and watch the firemen.
Here is a cute story from the week: Will and I were playing in his room last Wednesday evening and the cat walked in. Stan looked at us and said "meow", Will looked at the cat and said "AAAH". Do you think they can understand each other?
Here is a picture of Will standing at the coffee table.
Our new van...it is a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. I love it!

Congrats on the new car. With your purchase of a mini-van, you are officially and undeniably all-grown up now.
Remembering quite clearly the easy-on-the-eyes firefighters you encountered on your last visit there, I don't blame you for going back to the firehouse.
"Oh Mr. Fireman? Can you help little old me with this baby seat?"
I am going to stop myself since this is, after all, a family blog. :)
Thanks for making me laugh out loud, Heidi! Let me just tell you that I am sure the firemen were not too impressed by me. Let me remind you that I am now driving a MINI-VAN! As you so kindly put it, I am all grown up. I prefer to just say that I am old! :) I do really like driving the van, though. I just need to get used to backing up in it!
a MINI-VAN!! Yikes!! Oh... now I really feel old! One of us broke down and got a mini-van!
All in all... I am sure that you are going to love all the added space! But... I am sure Will will fill it up quickly with all of his toys, snacks, strollers, etc!!
Nice van! And I just love seeing Will sporting the RC gear!
