June 2012
June was a fun and busy month for our family. Burt taught 2 classes in June. One "normal" and one on-line. We celebrated our anniversary and Will's birthday. We had a visit from Papa and Gigi and settled back into the routine after our trip.
The boys have really enjoyed doing "school" this summer. I have printed off worksheets from the internet for them to do. They have letter recognition, identifying the picture that is biggest or smallest, etc on them. They really do well with them and enjoy working on them.
Charlie is doing great. We (actually my mom) found his first tooth on June 14th. It was the bottom left. One June 18th, we found the one on the bottom right. He rolled from his back to his tummy on our bed on June 6th and again on the 18th (this time on the floor). Since then he is rolling all the time. Charlie said his first word on June 15th. It was "da-da." We were decorating for Will's birthday party and he was in his bouncer jabbering. My mom was talking to him and asked who he was talking to. As clear as could be he answered back "da-da." Since then it has quickly become his favorite (and only) word to say. He says it all the time and can say it quite loudly. On the 4th he tried carrots for the first time and liked them.
Here are a few pictures from our fun month.
