I waited to start potty training John until after he turned 3. Yes, I know he turned 3 in March, but we also had a newborn and I had just gone back to work. :) Then, I thought I would wait until summer. Of course, we had also planned a three week trip so I decided to wait until we got home. I started potty training him on June 6th. He did great! Of course there were a few accidents but he really seemed to understand what he needed to do and just "got it." The picture above was taken on June 7. He has on his big boy underwear and is enjoying a treat for using the potty.
Charlie had his well exam on May 31st. The doctor said that he looks great. He weighed 39 lbs and was 41 inches tall, which according to the doctor was the size of an average 4 year old!
