We had a very relaxing July 4th. Burt didn't have to teach that day, so we just spent most of the day hanging out at home. I took Charlie for his 6 month pictures that morning. For dinner, we cooked hamburgers inside. It was way too hot to grill out.
After dinner, Burt lit firecrackers for the boys to watch. They loved them. Their job was to use the hose to put out the "fire" after they finished sparkling. They thought that was a great job and took it very seriously. We also let them each do a few sparklers which they really enjoyed. Here are a few pictures from the day.
