Charlie's 1/2 Birthday

Charlie turned 6 months old on June 29th. In our family, we celebrate the kids' half birthdays with some sort of little party. Normally, for the first 1/2 birthday we buy a cake for the adults to eat and let the baby watch. However, with our more relaxed parenting style that comes with the 3rd baby in five years, we decided to let Charlie join in the celebration. Miss Sarah and Miss Anna were here to celebrate with us. We had dinner then we gave Charlie his gift...a little cat that meows when you squeeze it.
He used his highchair for the first time that day and seems to enjoy it. We also gave him "puffs" for the first time that day. He wasn't sure of them. He is used to baby food so the texture was a bit odd for him. After that, we brought out the cupcake. I don't think much, if any of it, made it into his mouth but he sure had fun playing with it!
