"Up please Mama"

Those of you who know me well know that I am not a morning person. I think I have gotten a little better since becoming a mom, but I still would prefer to stay up late and sleep in!
This morning at 5:50 I heard the pitter-patter of little feet and soon found Will standing beside the bed. He very sweetly said "Up please Mama." That is his way of telling me that it is time to get out of bed! It is hard to deny a request like that. I let him get in our bed to cuddle for a couple of minutes and noticed that he still seemed sleepy. So, I took him back to his room and we rocked for about a half an hour. He woke up when I tried to lay him down and made it pretty obvious that he did not want to go back to bed. So, our day started at about 6:30. We did spend a lot of time cuddling in our chair after we got up, though. That was a very good way to start my day.

Is he saying, "Mama get up please." or "Mama, pick me up and let me in the bed please." ??

I really think it is the him asking me if he can get up, which means that I need to get up, too. Of course, he doesn't argue when I let him cuddle in the bed for a few minutes!
