Will turned 39 weeks old on Tuesday. He is still doing well and is recovering nicely from his ear infection. He is doing better with taking this antibiotic than he did with the last one (when he had bronchitis) so that has been a pleasant surprise.
I am expecting another tooth any day now. His top gum is very swollen and you can almost see a tooth under the surface. Also, he is still chewing on everything!
Will's newest trick is that he is trying to whistle! When Burt whistles he will try to do it, too. It is the cutest thing. Of course, no sound comes out, but he sure tries hard. He still loves to jump in his exersaucer. We raised it up, so he can't jump quite as high, but he can still jump a little in it. He is also getting really good at standing on his own. He will let go of whatever he pulls up on and stand for a minute or two before he lowers himself back down to the ground or grabs onto something to hang on to. It seems so weird to look at him and see him just standing on his own! Will is trying very hard to stand up without pulling up on anything, but he can't quite manage it yet. He can get up on his knees and extend one leg, but can't figure out what to do with the other leg. I can't believe how big our little man is getting.
Here are some pictures from the week. The first one is Will playing with his new duck that Gammy and Papa sent him for Easter.
Will playing in the entertainment center. We cleaned out the bottom and are using it to store some of Will's toys...obviously Will just likes to play in there!
