Will turned 37 weeks old on Tuesday. He had quite a busy week. He now waves sometimes as he goes into or leaves a room. He also waved at an older man in Walmart last week. It was very cute!
He has also learned how to hold his sippy cup and drink out of it on his own. He drinks water with his lunch and dinner. He has been trying to hold the cup on his own and drink for a while now, but he finally learned how to tip it just right and get a drink. Will has also learned a new trick at meal time...to spit his food. He doesn't do it often, but every now and then when he gets a bite of something that he doesn't like, he lets you know it. I have to admit that it is very hard not to laugh when he does it. We have also discovered a new favorite snack. They are called Mum-Mums, but we call them "yum-yums." They are basically rice cakes for babies. They are big enough for Will to hold in his hands and chew on them and they dissolve really fast. He loves them! Will also got a new high chair over the weekend. It was an early birthday gift from Gammy and Papa. Will really seems to like it. The picture at the top of the page is him trying out his chair after Burt put it together.
Will found our VCR last weekend. He likes to push on the flap and listen to the sound that it makes. He tries to push on the DVD door, but since it doesn't move it isn't as much fun!
Burt and I have been on spring break this week, so we have been able to spend a lot of time with our little boy. It is nice to not be on a schedule and to get caught up on odds and ends around the house. It seems like the week has gone really fast, though!
Here are some recent pictures of Will. The first picture is Will playing with his ball. It lights up and makes sounds. He loves to watch the lights.

He fell asleep playing in his exersaucer last Friday. We had gone to Walmart and I guess the shopping trip wore him out!
Big boy standing on his own...he was holding onto his toy and let go right as I snapped the picture!
