John is three weeks old today. He is doing well and growing like a weed. I took him to the doctor today because he has been congested off and on for the past few days. It didn't seem like a cold because it would get better and sometimes he wasn't congested at all. The doctor said that it is caused from the changing weather and also partially due to the mucus still in his lungs from birth. He said that we can use saline in his nose to help clear it out and also gave us some cold/allergy medicine we can try. The biggest surprise from the visit was J.J.'s weight. He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces when he went for his check-up ten days ago. Today, he weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces. Yes, that's right. My boy gained more than a pound in a week and a half! Obviously, he isn't having problems eating.
John had a busy day today. Not only did he have the doctor's appointment, but we also had a photo shoot today. One of my friends took pictures of him for me. She did a really good job and we got some really cute shots.
