Will turned 20 weeks old yesterday. He is growing so fast. The biggest change that I have noticed this week is how much more observant he has become. He will notice if I have a design on my shirt and will study it. He also is starting to really play with his toys now. It seems so funny to pack toys in his diaper bag when we go places! He discovered Stanley the cat for the first time yesterday. Will had watched him before, but never really noticed him too much. Yesterday the babysitter said that the cat was sitting on the couch with her and Will and he reached out and grabbed the cat's fur. Last night Burt was holding Will and the cat was on his lap and Will tried to "pet" the cat.
We think Will might be starting to cut teeth. He is a little fussy at times and is putting everything in his mouth. We haven't seen any teeth yet, so I think it is going to be a long process. We are using teething tablets and they seem to help make his mouth feel better.
Will is still a great eater. He loves his food. He tried peaches for the first time this week and liked them. He is starting to eat more solid food at each feeding and is still eating 5 or 6 bottles a day.
Here are some pictures from this week. The first one is Will playing in his exersaucer. The second one is a picture of me rocking Will while he was napping. He is covered up with the blanket that I knitted for him while I was pregnant. The last picture is Will and Burt playing with the cat.

What a cute kid!! I love the first picture!
I can only imagine what is going through the cats minds though... "holy crap, it's touching me" or... "it's about time you noticed us...we've been here all along!"
oops... I accidentally posted from my mom's account! managing two blogs may get a little difficult! sorry about that. the comment from Cindy was really from me!
Okay, Shan, that was so funny! I was thinking, "Wow! Shannon's mom is already posting. And she said, 'Holy crap' on Heather's blog." I'm glad you clarified that!
Heather-- What cute pics! Thanks for sharing them. I really like the look on Burt's face in the cat photo. It's like--- "You better not scratch my boy!"
I was pretty impressed when I thought that Shannon's mom left me a message, too. I am excited to get one from you, though, Shannon (and Amber)! Burt was a little fearful of what the cat might do. As I was taking the pictures he told me that we might get a picture of Stan biting Will. I said that we would title it "Before our trip to Urgent Care!" Stan has done pretty well with him so far, but I think he has no idea of how his life is going to change when Will starts to be able to move! Stan might be begging us to let him move outside with the other cat.
I am glad that I can keep you and Amber amused!! I "Holy Crap"ped when I realized I commented from the wrong account!
Hopefully I will be able to teach my mom how to "blog" and "comment" this weekend. The comment thing is something she wants to learn. She has no idea about her blog yet!
Great pics, but I feel bad for Stan. You are right, Heather--he has no idea what is about to happen to him when that kid gets mobile!
