16 Weeks Old

Our sweet boy is 16 weeks old already. It has been another exciting week for us. Will had his first baby food this week. He started eating pears on Friday night. He didn't really like them at first. I think that they tasted sour to him. Now he loves them! He eats them with his morning and evening cereal. We are going to start another fruit soon.
Will went to his first Bible class on Sunday morning. He did really well. We stayed with him and were able to get some great pictures and meet all of his new classmates. He seemed to like sitting in the little chair and watched everything that went on. The only toy that he really liked playing with was the felt "tree." Everything else he just looked at and didn't really pay much attention to. He looked so tiny compared to the other kids in the class, but they are all older and some are even ready to move up to the next class. He will also start going to class on Wednesday night. One of the girls from our Sunday evening Bible study teaches the class on Wednesday and is excited to have him join their class.
Will still loves to "talk" to us and enjoys playing with his toys on a blanket on the floor. He also likes to touch our face when we are holding him and likes to play with our fingers.
Here are some pictures from this past week. The first one is Will after eating pears for the first time. The next pictures are Will on Sunday in his Bible class. You can see him holding on to his tree in the third picture.

Hey Heather! Will is such a cutie!!

I am noticing a trend with all his eating pictures though... He seems to have it all over his face, bib ect!! what a messy little eater you have there!! did he get any pears in his mouth!!!!

You are right, Shannon. He is a very messy eater. Like I told Heidi, I never know how much he actually eats. It always seems like he has more on him than he gets in his mouth. He enjoys eating, though, so I can't complain! It is so cute to watch him.

The kid is less than 6 months old and he's already in classes. Can you tell his parents are both teachers?

We left him in Bible class last night and went to our own class for the first time. It felt so strange! I really felt like a part of me was missing. The only thing that kept me from running to check on him every five minutes is that they give you a pager so they can beep you if you are needed. The teachers said he did really well and he looked as happy as could be when we picked him up. Obviously, it is easier for him to be away from me than for me to be away from him!

wow...that is pretty cool that they give you a pager! is it like the type the restaurants give you when you are waiting for a table??

It is an actual pager looking pager, but it vibrates instead of beeps. It isn't the cool round kind like a restaurant gives you. These have a clip so you can clip it to your belt and look really important. Of course, I just held it in my hands so I wouldn't miss it if they needed me!
