Will & John's Pirate Bed Room

After Will's birthday party, we decided it was time that we finally redecorate the boys' bedroom. John had been sleeping on his crib mattress on the floor in Will's room for months. We wanted to make it their room, not just Will's room. We decided to get them new beds. They are twin beds that can be made into bunk beds in a couple of years. We went with a pirate theme. It was so much fun picking out all of the decorations. We did the painting while the big boys were in VBS and Miss Sarah came to help with Charlie. It really didn't take too long to redo the room and it looks completely different. They really like it and are so proud of it. I didn't take any before pictures but here are some taken during the painting and after it was finished.

Wall above John's bed. They have the same framed pictures and both have "stickers" of pirate scenes on the wall.

Both of the beds. Not a great quality picture but the only one that shows both beds. Also, they both have a photo collage over their bed.

Since the bathroom was already painted blue with fish, it was easy to make it match the pirate theme. Just needed a new shower curtain and curtain.
