John turned 47 weeks old on February 22nd. This week he figured out how to bend down and pick up a ball and stand back up again without toppling over. He is starting to get much better balance. John also had his first haircut on the 20th. He looks older since his hair has been trimmed!

On March 1, John turned 48 weeks old. He has started to carry toys around in his mouth this week so he can crawl and take them with him. Also, when he wants to go really fast, he puts his head down and crawls as fast as he can.
He also started saying "baba" for bottle this week. When I get him up in the morning or from nap, he will really gently pat me on the back. It is so sweet!
On the 28th, JJ walked halfway across the living room! He is starting to get much better at walking.
This week he tried chicken nuggets and really liked them. He also ate some roast and potatoes.

John turned 49 weeks old on March 8th. He tried ham on the 4th and liked it. On the 5th, John said "bub" for Will. He is able to take several steps at a time and is getting much steadier on his feet.
