Will turned 19 months old on Monday, January 19th. Our sweet boy is getting so big. He has recovered nicely from his ear infection and just took his last dose of antibiotic today (YAY!). He did so well with taking the medicine. He would actually suck it out of the dropper while we were squirting it in his mouth. It must not have tasted as bad as it smelled!
Will's obsession with balls is growing. He now likes to watch basketball, baseball and football on tv with Daddy. He will actually ask to watch it. He will point to the tv and if we ask him what he wants to watch, he will answer. It isn't always the same answer, so I guess he knows which of the three that he wants to watch. It is so cute to watch Burt and Will cuddled up together watching a game. Today, he enjoyed looking at pictures of ball players in a magazine!
On Saturday, Will was able to jump and clear the ground with both feet for the first time. He loves to jump now. Every now and then he will start jumping up and down and clap his hands and say "jump." He is very proud of himself!
It seems like Will is talking more and more every day. He will repeat almost anything that you ask him to. Today I was having him repeat words while we were doing our grocery shopping. The cutest word that he said was "onion." He has a little southern accent that makes the words sound even cuter.
While we were shopping at Walmart today, I took an item to one of the price checker stations to see how much it cost. Will thought it was great because it beeped. So, he held his bag of snacks up to the scanner and said "beep." I cracked up laughing. I love being able to see all the funny little things that he comes up with in a day.
A few days ago, we were having snack time. Will was eating some Goldfish crackers and I asked him if I could have one. He very sweetly looked up at me and smiled and said, "Please." I guess I remind him a lot to say please! It is a weird feeling to be reminded by your toddler to use better manners!
Will still loves for us to sing to him. He likes for us to sing "If you're happy and you know it." He will clap his hands, stomp his feet and now will say "Amen." He also likes for us to sing "The B-I-B-L-E." He will say "Bible" at the end. When we say prayers he will clasp his little hands together. It is the sweetest thing to watch.
Here are some recent pictures of Will. The first is Will having his morning cup of milk while he watches the cats eat out the window.
Checking out his new bathroom stool.
Brushing his teeth after bath time. He LOVES to brush his teeth!
Making a basket while standing on his stool.

You tell the best little stories about him. For those of us who live far from you guys, these little anecdotes are wonderful and give us such a sense of how he's growing up!
Love the toothbrushing picture!
Heidi, I am glad that you enjoy reading the stories about Will. I like being able to record the funny little stories that make him special. I heard somewhere that there is a company that will print your blog into a scrapbook. I would love to do that for the boys. Has anyone heard of this?
I just found this site. I think it's what you are looking for. I had never heard of it before, but it's pretty cool.
