Sweet William turned 18 months old yesterday! Where has the time gone? I can't believe how big he is getting. Burt and I were talking the other night about the differences in Will this Christmas and last Christmas. Last year he was trying to learn to crawl and was scooting all over the place. He would get so frustrated when he would scoot backwards and get stuck under our table! This year, he is running everywhere!
Will is starting to talk more and more every day. The other morning he was saying something and I couldn't figure out what it was. I thought he was saying he wanted another binkie. Finally, he did the sign for "bird" and I realized that he heard the birds chirping outside! On Thursday, we were getting in the van and he heard a train whistle and said "train." I love that he is able to communicate more with us now.
What I love the most is that Will is still our cuddly boy. He loves to sit on our laps and read books. He gives hugs and kisses all the time and is very loving.
We are heading to Virginia later today. We are spending the night in Nashville and will get to Burt's parents' house tomorrow evening. We will stay there through Christmas and travel to Ohio on the 26th. I probably won't be able to update the blog until we get home. Hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
Here are a few recent pictures of Will.
The first is Will kissing our Christmas tree.
