Getting so big...

It seems like Will has grown and changed so much over the past few weeks. He not only is starting to look older, but I think he is starting to act older, too. It is so much fun to watch him and see how much he is learning. Here are some highlights from the past few weeks.
*Will now can climb on the couch by himself. He learned to do that on August 23rd.
*He will sign "please" if we remind him how to do it. He started doing it on August 25th. He still needs us to remind him and demonstrate it, but he looks so cute when he does it!
* If you ask Will how he is doing he will say "good".
*When asked what a doggie says, he will make a panting sound. He also makes an almost meow like sound for a cat.
*Some new favorite words-"juice, turtle, hey kittie (when he sees Stan or the outside cats), truck, shoes"
*We got Will a pair of Bob the Builder tennis shoes at a consignment sale a couple of weeks ago. He loves these shoes! He will carry them all over the house and gets so excited when we tell him to go get his shoes so that we can put them on for him.
*Will got tooth # 8 (The fourth one on the bottom) on September 9th.
*He got his fourth haircut on September 10th.
*On September 10th, we also turned Will's carseat to face forward. He seems to like being able to see us and see out the windshield. He looks so much older sitting that way!
*One of his favorite toys is his shape sorter. He will sit for a long time and put the shapes in. He is getting good at recognizing which shapes fit into which holes. He is also starting to be able to recognize which toys will fit into the holes and which ones are too big.
Here are a few recent pictures. I am sorry it has been so long since my last post. We currently don't have the internet at home, so I am only able to post from work. We are still adjusting to the new semester, so it seems like my time at work is very busy. I will try to do better, I promise!
Playing in the bath with his new basketball bath toy.

Showing off his Bob shoes.

Last time riding in his carseat facing the back.

Big boy facing forward. I know that it looks like the seat isn't attached to the van. Don't worry, we use the tether strap, not the seat belt.
