April was a fun month for our boys. We were able to start playing out more since the weather has warmed up. The boys really wanted to plant some things so we have a little garden planted. We bought a big tomato plant that already had a few little tomatoes on it. Every morning they run to look out the door to see if the tomatoes have grown. We also planted some seeds in a little tray "greenhouse." Once the seedling got bigger, they were transferred outside. The boys also planted sunflowers and daisies.
The boys love to ride their bikes. We live really close to our church so we sometimes go there and let them ride in the parking lot. I am trying to come up with some fun activities for them for the summer and tried the first one this month. They took vinegar that had food coloring added to it and squirted it onto baking soda. It is fun to watch it fizz and bubble up. Also, they figured out that they could mix their colors of vinegar to make new colors!
